Servo Motors and Drives

Modern systems are often designed in such a way that products can be replaced quickly and without complication. If a high degree of response and accuracy are also required, Lenze’s servo drive systems offer the necessary flexibility.

Combined drive controller and servo motor packages featuring perfectly matched components provide solutions for a wide variety of requirements. Compared to mechanical and pneumatic solutions, servo technology is not only more responsive and accurate, but also better value for money and more wear resistant.

Lenze Drive Solutions

9400 Drive

Single- or multi-axis drives 0.37 to 375kW ( 1.9 to 695A)
Servo technology intelligently simplified! High performance with modularity that lets you specify and pay for exactly what you need.

Particularly suitable for: processing of continuous material in the packaging industry, perforating paper webs in the printing industry, winding in the textile industry, storage technology in the field of intralogistics.

  • Connections: start/stop, analog inputs/outputs (2/2), freely programmable digital inputs/outputs (8/4)
  • Resolver and universal multi-encoder input
  • Communication: CANopen, EtherCAT, Ethernet POWERLINK, PROFIBUS, PROFINET
  • Scaleable safety functions, Safe Torque Off, Safe Stop and much more, reduces your system costs
  • Technology functions such as table positions, positioning control, electronic gearboxes and much more
  •  PLC versions available

Safety - Lenze's 9400 series is the right drive for scalable safety functions. The safety module chosen is inserted in a slot reserved for safety engineering on the face of the drive, and the sensor technology used externally is connected up directly to the safety module. This ensures that the safety function is triggered at the very point at which the dangerous movement occurs in the controller. Parameters for the safety functions are set conveniently using the standard drive software.

ECS Drive

Lenze ECS multi-axis servo drives
High performance compact drives with output 2 to 20A
The ECS is a dynamic servo system for applications with typically 3+ drives. It consists of a power supply module connected to individual axis drives connected by a DC bus. Versions include pre-installed drive solutions such as positioning, motion control and PLC control. Safe Torque Off is an option.

ECS combines with the Lenze MCS synchronous servo motors to make a high performance system used in robotics with up to 64A peak current per axis

i700 Drive

Lenze  i700 Servo Drive - NEW
Multi-axis servo with EtherCAT 2.5 to 32 A (0.75 to 15 kW)
New inverter for controlled, dynamic motion, particularly suitable for: handling and packaging machines and robotic applications. The i700 suits systems with central control and is an ideal partner for the Lenze 3200C controller. Installation is particularly easy with pivoting arms to connect the DC bus. Twin axis modules operate two motors from one drive saving costs and panel space.

Your advantages:

  •  Connections: digital inputs/outputs (2/0)
  • Resolver feedback
  • Communication: EtherCAT
  • Axis modules capable of multiple overloads for peak output currents between 5 and 64 A
  • The servo inverter for controller-based automation combined with the Controller 3200
  • CIA 402 operating modes (position, velocity, torque-control, velocity-mode)
  • Safety function STO is standard

9300 Drive

Lenze 9300 Servo Drives 0.37 to 75kW

The 9300 series intelligent drives for modular machines, available in four versions:

  • Servo Drive
  • Positioner
  • Cam Profiler
  • Register Controller
  • Servo PLC

The 9300 series is at the initial stages of a phase-out although availability will continue for several years. It is replaced by either the 8400 TopLine for lower specifications or the 9400 Servo for highest performance. For multi-axis applications consider also the i700.
