Gerwah Shaft Locking Assemblies

GERWAH GmbH was founded in 1980. The idea of new, innovative products has made GERWAH a recognized partner in the machine tool industry.
From their headquaters in Germany Gerwah produce two specific product ranges, Shaft Couplings and Shaft Locking Assembleys.

Standard Locking Assemblies

PSV 2001

This range of locking assembleys offer the following features:

  • Economicaly priced
  • Flexible usage
  • Metric dimensions
  • Sizes range from 20x47 to 200x260mm.
  • Non self centering
  • Particularly suitable for applications where space is at a minimum

  • Chain pulleys
  • Belt conveyor plants
  • Strapping machines
  • Gearboxes

PSV 2005

This range of lockin assembleys offer the following features:

  • Transmission of high torque values
  • Robust design
  • Shaft sizes up to 200 mm
  • Torque up to 151.000 Nm

Applications include:

  • Drives in mechanical presses
  • Shredders
  • Rock crushers
  • Similar applications with high torque requirements

PSV 2006 / PSV 2006.3

This range of locking assemblies offer the following features:

  • Metric dimensions
  • Sizes range from 20x47 to 120x165mm.
  • Larger sizes available on request
  • Particularly suitable for applications where space is at a minimum
  • Available as PSV2006 short version with axial movement
  • Available as PSV2006.3 to eliminate axial movement

PSV 2007 / PSV 2007.3

This range of locking assemblies offer the following features:

  • Excellent usage of space
  • High torque values
  • Shaft sizes up to 150 mm
  • Torque up to 36.400 Nm
  • Self-centering
  • Tolerances H8/h8
  • Surface roughness
    Rt max. 16um shaft/hub

The PSV2007.3 offer the following advantages:

  • No axial movement during
    installation
  • Shaft sizes up to 150 mm
  • Torque up to 30.100 Nm

PSV 2010.1

These locking assembleys offer the following features:

  • Very small cross section
  • Limited contact surface pressure
  • Thin hubs with smaller outside
    diameters
  • Shaft sizes up to 90 mm
  • Torque up to 8.300 Nm
  • Self-centering
  • Tolerances H8/h8
  • Surface roughness
    Rt max. 16um shaft/hub

  • Pulleys

  • Similar applications requiring transmission of high torque values and limited surface pressure

PSV 2061

These locking assembleys offer the following features:

  • Self centering
  • Very small shaft diameters possible
  • Shaft sizes up to 50 mm
  • Torque up to 1.900 Nm
  • Tolerances H8/h8
  • Surface roughness Rt max. 10um shaft/hub
